How does it work?

  • This is a type of Pilsen Card designed primarily for tourists.
  • An alternative is the Virtual Pilsen Card app, where you can top up a more affordable subscription and don't have to worry about returning the plastic card. 
  • The tourist ticket can be used when traveling in zone 001 Pilsen and only on PMDP vehicles. The ticket is refundable and is issued against a refundable deposit of CZK 100 CZK. It can be purchased at PMDP Customer Centers (Denisovo nábřeží 12 and Klatovská 12) or at the Pilsen City Information Center (Náměstí republiky 41 and Paluba Hamburk), where you can also return it. You can check the opening hours at the points of sale.
  • The Tourist Ticket can be loaded with a subscription for zone 001 Pilsen for 1–17 days or with electronic money of your choice up to CZK 3,500 CZK.
  • If you have an active subscription longer than one day or a balance on your electronic wallet when you return the ticket, the amount will be refunded to you free of charge.

There are two types of subscription – basic subscription and discounted subscription at 50%.

Who is eligible for a discounted subscription?

  • Children aged 6 to 15, if they are not entitled to free transport under the SPP (during transport checks, it is necessary to present an ID card showing the date of birth and a photograph (student card, study card) together with the tourist subscription.
  • Persons aged 15 to 18 (during a ticket inspection, it is necessary to present a valid ID card, citizen ID card, or passport, as well as a Pilsen Card or Virtual Pilsen Card with an activated entitlement, along with the ticket).
  • students aged 18 to 26 (during transport checks, it is necessary to present a valid student ID card, valid ISIC student card, Pilsen Card or Virtual Pilsen Card with activated entitlement together with the ticket),
  • disabled pensioners of the third degree up to 65 years of age (during a transport inspection, it is necessary to present a confirmation with a QR code issued by the Czech Social Security Administration together with the ticket).

Entitlement to a discounted ticket must be proven both when purchasing a Tourist Ticket and during a ticket inspection on the vehicle.
