Basic Information

  • The SMS ticket is a transfer ticket and is valid only on PMDP vehicles in the zones of001nd Pilsen.
  • To order an SMS ticket, send an SMS with the text PMDP35M or PMDP24H (see above) to the phone number 90206. The SMS will arrive approximately one minute after ordering (by sending the SMS or calling), and you may board public transport vehicles only with an SMS ticket that has already been received and is valid. Passengers must allow for this delay and purchase the ticket in advance. For this reason, the 5-minute ticket is valid for one minute longer than the basic 30-minute ticket purchased, for example, on board the vehicle.
  • An SMS ticket cannot be forwarded from another phone.
  • If the SMS ticket does not arrive even after a considerable amount of time, the passenger is required to obtain a ticket by other means (e.g., by purchasing a ticket via the Virtual Pilsen Card mobile app) and subsequently file a complaint regarding the non-delivery of the SMS ticket.
  • To purchase an SMS ticket, you must have the Premium SMS service active with your mobile operator*. The phone number from which the SMS ticket is ordered must be registered on the network of one of the Czech mobile operators.

* Please note that if you change your mobile operator, you must check your Premium SMS settings again.

Duplicate SMS Ticket

If an SMS ticket is deleted while it is still valid, you can obtain a duplicate by sending an SMS in the format PMDPD (the format is the same for all types of SMS tickets) to the phone number 9000603. The cost of the duplicate is 3 CZK.

Printing simplified tax receipts

For each SMS ticket purchased, the buyer is allowed to obtain (print) a simplified tax receipt via the online application.

The buyer may obtain a simplified tax receipt within 3 months of purchasing the SMS ticket.

Complaints Regarding SMS Tickets

If the buyer/passenger considers the transaction (purchase of an SMS ticket) to be incorrect, they are entitled to file a written complaint with PMDP, a.s. (Customer Service Center, Denisovo nábřeží 12, Pilsen) or directly via the web application with the company responsible for operating the SMS ticket system in accordance with the applicable Product Terms and Conditions for the SMS Ticket service. The deadline for filing a complaint is 1 calendar month from the date of the disputed transaction. If the complaint is deemed valid by the SMS Ticket service provider, the service provider will refund the buyer, upon completion of the complaint process, an amount equal to the price of the SMS Ticket according to the current SMS Ticket price list.
