Basic information

  • The SMS ticket is transferable and is only valid on PMDP vehicles in zone 001 Pilsen.
  • You can order an SMS ticket by sending an SMS in the form of PMDP35M or PMDP24H (see above) to the phone number 90206. The SMS will arrive approximately one minute after ordering (by sending an SMS or calling), and you can only board public transport with a valid SMS ticket that has already been received. Passengers must take this delay into account and purchase their ticket in good time. For this reason, it is valid for 5 minutes longer than the basic 30-minute ticket purchased, for example, on the vehicle.
  • SMS tickets cannot be forwarded from another phone.
  • If the SMS ticket does not arrive even after a longer period of time, the passenger is obliged to obtain a ticket by other means (e.g., by purchasing a ticket via the Virtuální Pilsenská karta mobile app) and then complain about the non-delivery of the SMS ticket.
  • To purchase an SMS ticket, you must have an active Premium SMS service with your operator*. The phone number from which the SMS ticket is ordered must be registered with one of the Czech mobile operators.

* Please note that if you change your phone operator, you will need to check your Premium SMS service settings again.

Duplicate SMS ticket

If you delete your SMS ticket during its period of validity, you can obtain a duplicate by sending an SMS in the form PMDPD (the form is the same for all types of SMS tickets) to the phone number 9000603. The price of a duplicate is CZK 3 CZK.

Printing simplified tax documents

For each SMS ticket purchased, the buyer is allowed to obtain (print) a simplified tax document via an internet application.

The buyer is allowed to obtain a simplified tax document within 3 months of purchasing the SMS ticket.

Complaints about SMS tickets

If the buyer/passenger considers the transaction (purchase of an SMS ticket) to be incorrect, they are entitled to file a written complaint with PMDP, a.s. (Customer Center, Denisovo nábřeží 12, Pilsen) or directly via the internet application to the company that operates the SMS ticket system in accordance with the valid Product Terms and Conditions of the SMS ticket service. The deadline for filing a complaint is 1 calendar month from the date of the disputed transaction. If the complaint is recognized as justified by the SMS ticket service provider, the service provider will refund the buyer the amount equal to the price of the SMS ticket according to the valid SMS ticket price list after the complaint procedure has been completed.
