Closure of Americká Street from 11 . 5 . 2026 - route changes: 20 , 27 , 34 , N1–N6, N11, N12

Effective from the start of daily service on 11, 5, and 2026, the daily bus routes 20, 27, and 34, as well as all night bus routes, will be rerouted from Americká Street to Kopecký Park and Smetanovy Sady.
The Mrakodrap and U Práce stops will be eliminated and replaced by the Muzeum and Smetanovy Sady stops. Additional stop changes are listed for each route.

20 Line

Buses heading from Bílá Hora will turn right from Františkánská Street into Kopecký Park, through which they will proceed directly to Smetanovy sady, from where they will turn right into Pětatřicátníků Park and thus rejoin the regular route. The line’s operating range remains unchanged.
Changes to stops:
The Goethova, Mrakodrap, and U Práce stops will be canceled.
Františkánská – the stop will be at the end of Františkánská Street, before the start of Kopecký sady.
Smetanovy sady – the stop will be at the level of the J. K. Tyl Theater.

Line27
: Services heading from Košutka will turn off at the roundabout from Karlovarská Street onto Otýlie Beníšková Street and, following the same route as lines 33 and 40, will continue to the end of Františkánská Street. From Františkánská Street, they will turn right into Kopecký Park, through which they will travel directly to Smetanovy Park, from where they will turn right into Pětatřicátníků Park and thus rejoin the regular route. The line’s service area remains unchanged.
Stop changes:
In the direction of the city center, the stops Rondel (at the exit ramp to General Patton Bridge) and Sady Pětatřicátníků will be canceled. U Práce and Mrakodrap.
Rondel – stop for lines 33, 40, N1, N4 on Otýlie Beníškové Street, only in the direction of the city center.
Otýlie Beníškové – stop for lines 20, 33, 40, N1, N4 on Otýlie Beníškové Street, only in the direction of the city center.
Náměstí Republiky – stop for lines 20, 33, 40, N1, N4 at Náměstí Republiky, only in the direction toward the city center.
Františkánská – the stop will be at the end of Františkánská Street, before the start of Kopeckého sady.
Smetanovy sady – stop at the level of the J. K. Tyl Theater.

Line34
Services heading from Pařížská will continue to Wilsonův most without change. At the intersection of Americká Street and Anglické nábřeží, they will turn right onto Anglické nábřeží, then continue to Kopeckého sady, through which they will travel directly to Smetanovy sady, from where they will turn right into Pětatřicátníků Park and thus rejoin the regular route. The line’s service area remains unchanged. All services from Orlík heading to the city center will terminate at Pětatřicátníků Park.
Stop changes:
The Mrakodrap stop and the Pařížská stop (final stop) in the direction from Orlík will be canceled.
The Muzeum stop—for services heading to Orlík only—will be at the original bus bay in front of the museum.

Lines N1, N4
: Diverted in both directions to Smetanovy sady, Kopeckého sady, Anglické nábřeží, and Pražská Street. Transfers between night lines will take place at the Muzeum stop. The line’s operating range remains unchanged.
Stop changes:
The U Práce and Mrakodrap stops have been canceled. The Náměstí Republiky stop in the direction of Severní předměstí will be relocated.
Smetanovy sady – the stop in the direction of Bory will be at the level of the J. K. Tyl Theater. The stop in the direction of Bolevec will be located at the junction of buildings with street numbers 11 and 13.
Muzeum – the stop for the direction of Bory will be in the original bus bay in front of the museum. The stop in the direction of Bolevec will be opposite the bus bay on the sidewalk by the Komerční banka building.
Náměstí Republiky – the stop for services to Severní předměstí will be at the stop for lines 1 and 2 on Pražská Street.

Lines N2, N5
: Diverted in both directions to Anglické nábřeží, Kopecké sady, Smetanovy sady, Husova, and Koperníkova streets. Transfers between night lines will be at the Muzeum stops. The line’s service area remains unchanged.
Stop changes:
The Mrakodrap and U Práce stops have been canceled. The Tylova stop in the direction of Slovany will be relocated.
Muzeum – the stop for the direction to Skvrňany will be at the original bus bay in front of the museum. The stop in the direction of Slovany will be opposite the bus bay, on the sidewalk next to the Komerční banka building.
Smetanovy sady – the stop in the direction of Skvrňany will be at the level of the J. K. Tyl Theater. The stop in the direction of Slovany will be at the junction of buildings with street numbers 11 and 13.
Tylova – the stop in the direction from Skvrňany to the city center will be relocated from Tylova Street to Koperníkova Street, to the stop for line 18.

Lines N3, N6
: Diverted in both directions to Anglické nábřeží, Kopecké sady, and Smetanovy sady. Transfers between night lines will take place at the Muzeum stop. The line’s operating range remains unchanged.

Muzeum – the stop for the direction to Košutka will be at the original bus bay in front of the museum. The stop in the direction of Doubravka will be opposite the bus bay, on the sidewalk next to the Komerční banka building.
Smetanovy sady – the stop in the direction of Košutka will be at the level of the J. K. Tyl Theater. The stop in the direction of Doubravka will be at the intersection of buildings with the street numbers 11 and 13.

Line N11
It will start at Kopeckého sady at the Muzeum stop. The route of line N11 remains unchanged.
