Safely to your destination

Last year, our vehicles traveled over 12 million kilometers and transported more than 100 million passengers. Trams account for a quarter of the distance traveled and a third of the passengers transported. In 2024, trams were involved in a total of 243 traffic accidents, the vast majority of which were caused by other road users. Pedestrians are, of course, the most vulnerable – last year, we unfortunately recorded a total of 9 collisions with them and another 3 pedestrians on other tracks.

Trams, in particular, are heavy rail vehicles with a braking distance of tens of meters. Unfortunately, our drivers very often encounter reckless behavior by pedestrians – ignoring red lights, stepping in front of a tram that is starting or braking, or even climbing over coupled trains. Such behavior can have tragic consequences, which is why we have decided to launch a new campaign called "Safely to Your Destination," which will inform the public about the most common bad habits of pedestrians and explain our drivers' perspective on certain situations.

You will encounter the campaign through visuals and videos until the end of this year.
