Notice of change in regime - replacement of electronic money with so-called transport points

Dear e-money users, 

As of January 1, 2026, there has been a change in the electronic wallet system on your cards (e.g., Pilsenská, Karlovarská, or Chebská cards, Mariánka, etc.). Electronic money has been replaced by so-called transport points. But don't worry—nothing significant will change for you as a user. 

What does this mean in practice?

· The balance on your card will be automatically converted to transport points at a ratio of 1:1.

· You will continue to use transport points to purchase tickets on public transport vehicles and from other carriers, for example within the Integrated Transport System of the Pilsen Region.      

· Other card functions, such as the use of prepaid cards, remain unchanged. 

Please note that it will no longer be possible to use transport points to pay for admission to the zoo, swimming pool, and other leisure facilities.

This change is related to the decision to terminate our license to issue electronic money – instead, we are introducing a new, simpler system based on transport points.
