Why have a campaign supporting public transportation?

If you look at the two pictures below, the answer seems obvious. But even so, in a campaign titled “You’ve got Every reason to Sit down & ride!” we will present you with even more reasons and convince you and your friends that public transportation is the right way to go.

The campaign runs from September through February and we believe that it will not only entertain you, but primarily make you stop and think about why it’s good to ride the tram or trolleybus instead of get in the car and drive.

There are many reasons to ride public transportation. You, too, can find a reason to ride with us!

Did you know that if you purchase a year-long pass, transportation will cost you just CZK 11 per day? And that’s for the full-price pass! Students pay just a little over CZK 5 per day. There are no limits on the number of rides you can take ... and no hassle, either.

Pilsen’s public transportation network is among the very best in the country. It has among the highest percentages of environmentally-friendly and easy-access low-floor vehicles and offers highly innovative ticketing solutions. 

The campaign’s partners are Rencar, HitRádio FM Plus, Blaník radio station and Plzeň is delicious with us establishments.

And don’t forget to hop on. It may be the smartest thing you've done all day :-)

At the beginning of January we’ll select and hand out prizes for the five best, wittiest and most original reasons.
